Had a nice time at Big Cottonwod Canyon creek today, the fish were really active! They were flying out of the water for bugs, it was really a sight to see. Also had a moose for a fishing buddy, wish I had a camera. Caught 3 brookies on a 14 Olive Crystal Flash Caddis!

Have a great summer,

I headed up Millcreek yesterday (had my dog, and I know the cottonwoods don't allow them)
Fished a pool and hooked a bunch.
I was using a Royal Wulff #18 and a black WD40 #22 off about 18".
Several bumped the Wulff specially when it started to sprinkle, but all were taken on the WD.

Saw a nice HUGE doe in the Parking lot across the street. Love the wilderness.

Where did you find a pool at Millcreek..I was up there last week for my sons boyscout camp, and I drove up and down looking for deep pools. I couldn't find any. Do you go past the scout area or is it before? I just bought a couple Royal Wulffs #14 dying to get out and see how they work. Was that WD-40 a bead head?

The WD is a bead head. Continue pass the Scout camp, past the resturant, and just past the big Picnic area. It is not visible from the road with the leaves on the trees. On the South side of the road there is an Out House, first one right next to the road.
Pull in to the parking lot right next to the outhouse. Follow the wooden sidewalk west...can't miss it.

Thanks, I will try it tomorrow.
