It has been reported to me that a member is unable to edit his post on my "Fishing invites" thread. First off, if you have posted a reply to that thread will you please see if you have an "Edit" button available to edit your post. Secondly, please respond to this "Sticky" thread and see if you have an "Edit" button available.

Mine says it was edited in March... I probably did some spelling or grammar of some sort. But now I can't edit it.

I would like to, just to make some minor changes about the info (times to go, fishing techniques, target species, etc... now that I know what I'm talking about a bit better! LOL)
Nothing major, but it would be nice to do so.

I only have "Report", "Quote" and "Reply" on it.

A screen capture would be the best way for me to demonstrate this to the team.

If it comes up again, see if the user can push the "print screen" button on his keyboard. Then open a word document and click edit>paste. Save it and email it to us.

Apparently there's a time limit for editing posts, which I'm having the dev team remove. The edit post functionality should be available without limit shortly.

It was initially created to keep users who get emotional on the board from going back in much later and wiping out all of their previous posts.

If we have issues of that nature, we might have to figure something else out. But I suspect it won't be a huge deal.

I'll let everyone know once I have confirmation that the edit post time limit has been removed so we can test it. [teeth]
