[#008000]I hooked up with BigBassaholic in the early AM and headed up to Jordanelle for some bass fishing. The weather was real nice and it was a great day of good company, good conversation, good fishing, and good catching.
First off we puttered over to the island and tossed some top waters. Then, after getting no takers, I tried swimming a shallow grub and got a small Smallmouth. After realizing that no more action was to happen at that spot, we took off to the Rock Cliffs and found some likely spots and fished there.
We caught a pretty good number of bass at the shallow to medium depths - we were basically using drop shots, but, we tried other things as well.
Most of our fish came from drop shotting berkley/gulp minnows, worms or wacky rigged stick baits in the snaggy cover; where, of course, we donated a fair amount of hardware to the depths. [/#008000]

[#008000]We caught a fair number of good sized Smallmouths (16-18 inches) and a grundle of smaller ones. BigBassaholic got the biggest at what looked like maybe about 19 inches from my perspective on the back of the boat (we didn't really take the time to measure any of the fish). BigBassaholic also latched into one pretty nice Perch on a wacky rig. [/#008000]

[#008000]We left the water when the power crowd got a little too thick around 2 pm. [/#008000]

[#008000]My camera developed some kind of issue with the shutter, but, I was able to click off a couple of photos before it went south.
