Tuesday 07/29/08- Hit the water early (5:00 am). Wind and waves in the Boulder Basin and Las Vegas Bay. Much nicer around Las Vegas Wash and Hole 33.

Enjoyed a great Lake Mead sunrise.

Was hoping to run into some nice topwater action. Found stripers feeding on the surface inside Sand Island. We fished this small boil until it vanished. That's it. The wind came up and all opportunity came to an end.

Ended up with seven nice fat stripers! What a great day on the water.

Improvements on the launch ramp have narrowed it to one side only. Until improvements are finished you must launch from dirt and gravel. Good luck!
