Decided to go with a buddy and his father in-law to pineview this morning. I was a little reluctant to go because of the skunk streak i had going (4 in a row no fish). So I went, got in the water around 6:30am so i started trying som new jigs out and nothing. Then 4 hours later was paddle'n my tube over to my buddies not trying just kick'n to ask him if I still smelled like skunk right when I was saying the word bam FISH ON. Reeled in a 12" Crappie, never caught a crappie before nice fish. So my then my friend hooks into a muskie and cuts his line. After that started kicking again and another 12 " Crappie.
So all in all a good day from my point of view since i have been getting skunked so many times. Other fish that were caught were two more crappie and a carp. So here is to ending the summer season off not in a funk.(I know its not over yet) Here are the pictures to prove it. In the imortal words of PRIMUS "FISH ON. FISH ON".

[cool][#0000ff]Nice going. I guess we don't have to go out Friday now.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Lesson learned: Fish sometimes do not bite in spite of all the professional tactics and high priced tackle you use. But, sometimes they bite for no good reason and it is tough to figure them out.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Deal with it. That's fishing.[/#0000ff]

[cool][#0000ff]I was just kiddin' ya. Several of us "regulars" are planning to join you on a floatilla. Hopefully we can score some wipers but even if we don't, the kitties usually come out to play. Who knows, you might even get a couple of Willard's crappies.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Let's watch the weather forecast as it gets closer to Friday. Otherwise, we will plan to hit the north marina ramp about 6 AM. I will bring some plastics for you to use on wipers and also some minnows.[/#0000ff]

sweet sounds like a plan. is the north marina the $3 parking?
[signature]
[cool][#0000ff]No. Parking in the main marina parking lot will cost about $10 if you don't have a pass. The $3 rate is only for parking on the north dike road.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]If you don't have a pass, ride with someone who does or at least ride share and split costs.[/#0000ff]
