Hit Strawberry yesterday with a buddy and my 14 y.o nephew, we were on the water at 7:30. Started at the Knolls and drifted across towrds the ladders. Weather was perfect, nice and overcast and cool, I bet air temp was mid 70's and water temp was around 68. Boated 30 fish by 11:00 and then moved over towards the north end of Strawberry Bay where we found a huge school of Cutt's. Hooked up with multiple double's and triples. You would hook a fish and other's would follow it up to the boat looking for the chub meat. All fish were located between 30 and 40' never had to look deeper becuase the weather stayed nice and cool, never got hot enough to move the fish deep.
Most fish were in the upper range of the slot with a handful of 23-25 inchers. I figure I boated 35 or so along with my buddy and my nephew boated around 15. Great day at a great lake. All fish were caught with pearl, white or glow tube jigs 2.5-3" tipped with chub or crawler. Hope this helps. Enjoy.
