Anyone have any info or tips for some SMB at East Canyon. I usually do really well with Berkley crawdads, but no luck recently. Any help appreciated.

I wouldn't worry too much about what you're using up there right now. I've been up a few times in the last couple of weeks, and its been pretty tough for me too. None of my usual lures or methods produced much. Maybe someone is spanking them, but it sure isn't me either [frown] Better luck next time I guess! Fred K.

I don't fish ec for bass (yet) but in all the lakes I fish the smb are pretty light sensitive. You can always catch some during the day but in waning light they really turn on. I frequently head out to go fishing between 7 and 8 pm and fish till way after dark. I can throw a jig for 45 min. with nothing then the light fades and they start nailing the same jig.
