I am going fishing at Rockport this weekend, hoping to hook up on some bass. I was hoping to get some pointers for catching some bass with my nephews. I've really always focused on trout and catfish, never really toward bass. We will be fishing from the shore and in float tubes. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. I really want to get my nephews into fishing

Throw a white or brown curly-tail grub on a lead-head. Fish points and ledges. You might want to pick up a bag of senkos 4" watermelon.
