I always wanted to see what it was like pulling in the big pike and muskies but never got the chance until this year getting a few little 18"-22" pikes in the local lakes here NW of Chicago. Today I finally got my wish pulling in a 32" tiger muskie, and I can't stop smiling. I always heard they were in there but never saw one. I threw some large golden roaches off of the dock and 10 minutes later my pole was nearly ripped over the railing. I'm really surprised it didn't snap and I got that beast in the the shallows so I could beach him. As soon as I got the hook out and grabbed my camera he jumped between the rails of the dock as off he went, but will always be present in my memories.
Now I know what the thrill is and know what makes you guys so excited about bringing em in. Cheers
