Fished porcupine last night from 6:30 till about 10:30. We did pretty good with the kokes, ended up with 16 in the boat. I was only able to hook up with one that ended up looking like a small anchovy but it was still a good night. Saw a few other fisherman on the lake but didn't get a chance to talk to any of them. All of our kokes came before 9:30, after that we went after some browns with no luck. Has anyone had much luck catching them out there? I'm not asking for secrets just wondering. My buddy always want to try but we've never had any luck. All in all it was a good night especially considering when we went out last Wednesday I snapped a leaf spring on my trailer. But the new springs worked great and gave us no problems. The picture is our "fix" to get us home. It worked.

fantastic, jason! I'm jealous...when we going? I was thinking of heading up there early in the morning just from the shore to see if I can get a big trout. I've caught some big 'bows and browns out of there before, but few and far between.
great pics..I'm glad you got your trailer fixed.

I wish I could go up tomorrow but I've skipped church the last two weeks and the wife will probably kill me if I leave and let her go alone. Maybe next Saturday though. I don't know what is going on yet but I will let you know. The only thing I've caught out there besides Kokanee was a brown I caught two Saturdays ago and even he wasn't anything special. There are tons of fish hitting the water in the evenings, feeding on bugs it looks like, I think they are probably rainbows but I haven't been able to catch one to be sure.

I've done fairly good for the browns at the Pig but nothing over 20 inches in recent years. I did catch a 5 lber there a lot of years ago but I wasn't trolling just bait fishing a nightcrawler right under the boat. You can catch them trolling the same thing you use for the kokes just fish deeper. When we were up there a month ago or so we were marking them deep the first thing in the morning, I think they were feeding on the kokes. We have done the best for them fishing in 50 to 60 ft of water.

Yeah we've marked a lot of single fish really deep and figured they were browns we even tried dropping down for them with no luck. Thanks for the info though I'll try crawlers next time.
