FLIPPIN, Arkansas - The upcoming FLW Outdoors Show in Columbia, South Carolina, which runs in conjunction with the 2008 Forrest Wood Cup from August 14-17, will serve as the first public viewing of the 2009 model Ranger boats and promises to give fans of fishing and spending time outdoors a world-class look at all the newest gear.

With help from Columbia-based Ranger dealer, Outdoor RV and Marine World, Ranger Boats will display the new 2009 Z522 Comanche as well as the 208VX, 211 Reata and 1850 RS, along with their industry-leading line of fishing boats and accessories. Experienced sales staff as well as professional anglers, local fisherman and Ranger founder Forrest L. Wood will be in the booth throughout the Outdoor Show, answering questions about the new models and giving visitors the opportunity to meet some of the biggest names on the FLW Tour.

The new additions to the Ranger line will no doubt be some of the biggest news at the Show. The Z522 Comanche, new for 2009, continues the evolution of the industry's best freshwater fishing boat line, while the 1850 RS and 211 Reata give families and water sports enthusiasts a great choice for maximizing their time on the water. The new 208VX, designed for competitive anglers looking for performance and value in a 20-foot package, joins a long line of proven hull designs and feature packed interiors. For multi-species fisherman, the new Ranger 618 and 620 tiller models offer more maneuverability, striking good looks and innovative storage systems for anglers looking to attack big water and big fish.

"We're excited to kick-off the 2008 Forrest Wood Cup and introduce our new models to everyone at the show," said Ranger Boats President Randy Hopper. "Our local Ranger dealer, Outdoor RV and Marine, is really instrumental in pulling this together and we're proud of the way they represent the Ranger brand. With so much excitement surrounding the tournament and outdoor show, we can't wait to unveil what we've been working on."
