I've been having a lot of fun with the Tiger Muskys in Hauser lake. Now I'm looking for Northerns on CDA. Can anyone point me to a good spot and what to use? Any help would be great. Thanks

You might try the chain lakes as well. While camping last summer at Benewah C.G. (Heyburn S.P. system) I caught a 7-8 lb northern on a Mepps Black Fury (about a no.3)from along the trestle near the C.G. I think any of the marshy areas in CDA or it's chain lakes might produce some big northerns. From a boat you might troll spinners or typical pike swim baits.

The Coeur d'Alene newspaper has an excellent fishing report that comes out each week on Wednesday. It usually doesn't get posted until Thursday. The Idaho Statesman could take a lesson from them. Just go to www.cdapress.com/columns/ They report on pike each week in a very precise way, giving locations, lures, etc. Mike
