Hi ya. yeah im new to this website but am in some need of some dire fishing info. I have always wanted to live near a lake. well now i only live about four blocks from hyrum reservoir. The problem is is that i spend so much time on the shore and get skunked everytime. If anyone on here has any tips or suggestions please feel free to help me out.

Drive over to the south east corner near the inlet. Cast out with some Powerbait or a worm and mellow. You will catch fish there.

I live fairly close to Hyrum and speaking for myself I catch WAY more fish during the ice season. In a nut shell, fishing from shore there pretty much sucks. Too many water skiiers. But if you have a boat, you can drag rapalas and catch quite a few if you get up early enough.

Ice fishing there can be pretty good. There are some nice fat 'bows in that lake, and lots of perch which should be getting to be good size now.

I have caught a couple rainbows over on the dam side. i like to use alot of spinners and lures. I have heard that there are good sized bass in there but i dont know how or where to get them. and is there anyway accesible to get to the inlet?
