I just got my Kokanee back from the taxidermist. The pics are not very good and don't do the mount justice, but I love it and think John Holley did a great job. The fish looks alot smaller in the pics than it really is. Thought I would share it with you guys.

Nice fish, but what's with the spots? Is it normal on the hunchbacks? No sarcasm intended at all. just curious. never seen one like that. How big was it?

It was almost 18" and out of the berry. The spots were present when I caught it ,and got darker after it died. I'm no pro but I think this fish was late in the spawn.

Thats nice !!! that fish is almost as big around as it is long. I have a largemouth bass on my wall like that, it's 21in. long and a 20in. girth. that big girth really makes a fish.

Nice mount! I really like the head, looks really good. The spot are odd, but if they were on the fish when you caught it, than they should be there.

If that's a skin mount then the price is about normal $14-15 per inch.
