Hey we are heading to trial lake this weekend and was wondering how bad the bugs are...are we going to get carried away? Thanks!

I was up there last weekend, with the breeze, not so bad, but when it died down, I think I lost a pint or two![]

Crap...thanks for the heads up. We are taking the kids, did the bug spray help? Also, how was the fishing?

Bug spray helped, fishing was ok in the river, at trial I pulled in about 15 little guys, and 4 good sized, 1 over 12 inches- makes the bugs seem not so bad[]

I know they say NOT to use DEET on kids under 12, but up there it is THE only way to keep them safe. They were horrible the last trip up there especially in the evenings.[cool]
