Well we pretty much got our house wrapped up, so we could sneak away for a few days for the archery hunt. Not too far from our camp is a nice little pond that we like to chase the hatchery pets in. Took the kids down and had a great time. There is nothing big in those ponds, but it is great scenery and a pleasant place to relax. If you are so inclined you can read my hunting report here. The little ones caught fish on bait, while I chucked lures around catching some here and there. We caught a couple of albino trout, a bunch of rainbow trout, and a few tiger trout. I was surprised about the albinos, as I thought the state gave up on them in hatcheries. Oh well, still fun to catch. We had a great time, and it was nice to finally get out fishin' again. It's been a full year since I've had a pole in the water.....now that should be illegal!
