Fished Henrys yesterday and had an awesome time! Not a ton of fish but it was a blast.
Caught this fish which was between 9 and 10 pounds. So pumped about it!
Was fly fishing using a variety of leeches.

How was the fish trolling baitfishing ect other than with a fly? Also does anyone know anywhere else in IP that is hot either now or in the next couple weeks for browns?

Hebgen Lake in Montana is full of browns and is good fishing.
There was a report on here last week or so by somebody (can't remember at the time) and they did pretty well with bait. Even a five and seven pound hybrid so you should be alright.

From what I have learned the most important thing is a knowledge of the different types of lines, how to use them, when to use them, etc... Also factoring in the weather and wind speed.
What has been your experience with it?

I agree. Knowing what line to use when along with strip speed. Is much more important than what fly to use. That being said there are those days when having the right fly is everything.

It is frustrating sometimes how selective they can be, but having it right in front of there face certainly gives you an advantage!

I think definitely Sat. thru Tuesday, then we want to hit Montana.
It is so nice up there, I will be happy just to get out and the fish will be a bonus.
I do recall a couple of years back, I fished Cliffs and pulled in 15 CHUB all over 16", no that was depressing, but, as Lynn mentioned, the big cutt don't eat other fish, so that makes it even more depressing.
However later that day I caught several in the 26" range.
Like I said, hard to top the 35" so, it just fishing.
Let Lynn know I have a dozen mice for him, but I am bringing my tying kit.
