The Green is always fishing good as long as you dangle a worm.[sly]

It depends on what you are doing (Fly fishing/ Spin Fishing). If you are spin fishing it's always good, fly fishing is a little harder. I always tear it up on Rapalas and jigs with my spin rod.
Good Luck!

Small mayfly nymphs and midge pupa will catch fish there all day, all year. Scuds and worms are good too. Big dries (hoppers, crickets) are working now. Fish are usually rising in the scum holes to midges, and some evenings will have rising fish in the slower water. Hatches aren't usually major, although watch for tricos early in the mornings around Little Hole.
Its not about the fly, its about the presentation. DEAD DRIFT the smaller flies and nymphs. There's 10,000 trout per mile, so if you can't catch fish from the Green, take up golf.[cool] Its one of the easiest rivers to fly fish in the entire US because of the density of trout. They see lots of flies though, so you have to present your fly correctly, that's all.

Man I guess I need to break out the old clubs. I have not been there for a few years, but managed to miss several and never hook one, well except for my cousin on a back cast as i did not know he had worked in behind me.
I still suck at it but will do it form time to time as it gets me out of the house and any fishing is my escape form the day to day grind.
