We launched at the main marina somewhere between 6:30 and 7 this morning. We started fishing the shore right across from the marina and headed towards salterus wash. We ended up bringing home one 17",18", 21", and 4 that went between 12" and 14" walleyes. We caught close to 20 perch, we kept the ones that were over 8" with the biggest measuring 10". We were bottom bouncing worm harnesses between 20' and 40'. We never made it over to rabbit gulch, we ran out of worms and called it a day.

Not too bad, sounds like a good day. What color blades were you using on your worm harness? WH2

If you don't mind me asking; are there a lot of snags at Starvation?

Snags? At Starvation? Just keep your lures off the bottom and you'll be fine [:p].

We used white/chart. until we lost it to a snag. We tried purple until we lost it. We used black with the same result. I don't remember what the other color we lost was. We also used orange and the other one was chart.. We caught walleye's on all of them. As for snags we didn't notice until the bottom came up really fast. We weren't actually dragging the bottom, we tried to stay above it by a couple of feet.
