Fished there today, hoped to find a koke in the red but nogo. In fact not a single cutt caught either (a good thing! I hate those stupid cutts), but we did have absolutely crazy rainbow action until noon when we left, at times we had 3 on at once out of 4 poles when we found a school. and trolled through.

Oddly there was no single lure that they preferred, but definitely scent. I mix up a home brew concoction based on several commercial scents and man, one of my "three" types I've been working on really worked great.

Anyway alot of fun, wife and boy caught all they wanted.

PS: Stopped at the fish trap on the way back, seemed to be around 50 red kokes in there.

Yes, a couple respectable bows in the mix. My concoction (good word for it) is basically a couple different types of smellyjelly mixed with a couple other common kitchen ingredients. I usually mix up a couple variations of the recipe and see if one preforms better than the others. Some days it doesnt seem to help, other days like yesterday it seems to be a magnet
