Been involved most of the summer fish'n in an on-line Musky tournament.

This is our first year in this tournament. You fish against other teams throughout the midwest fish'n your waters and they fish their waters. Unique rules help keep it fair...one of the rules is a day prior to your match an item is assigned and must be in the picture with the fish.

We barely eeked out of pool play ranked 15th out of 16 teams that qualified out of 9 pools. Each pool had 4-5 teams. During pool play the fish had to be at least 30".

To qualify in the first round playoffs the fish now must be at least 35".

Our first round playoff match this past Sunday 7 Sept we were up against the number 2 ranked team out of the pool play who is out of Stevens Point Wisconsin fishing the Wisconsin River. They won all their pool matches.

We boated 2 unfortunately under the required 35". Also lost one at the side of the boat that could've possibly made the 35" mark.

We were beginning to think we wouldn't get a qualifier...but finally found a Tiger that decided to open up it's lock jaw allowing us to get a photo-op and give us our first round playoff match win thus placing us into the quarterfinals in October. The other team only boated a 36" while fish'n the Wisconsin River.

Fish measured out on the bumpboard at 41" with an 18" girth.

Sounds like a fun way to run a tourney and you are doing great. Are you fishing Yuba?

Wow, I knew that, for some reason I had in my brain that it was a Pike tourney. My bad.
