Hello everyone. New to the forum here.
In about 2 weeks, I'm trailering my boat to Ocean City, MD for some fishing for the first time (in that area), and I was wondering if someone here could give some advice on where to go for good catches. I've heard the inlet area is hot, but I'm thinking about heading out onto the Atlantic if the seas are calm. Is there any fishing to be done within 5 miles of the shoreline? If so, any advice on where to go and what type of fishing to do? I don't feel comfortable running out to the canyons, so I'm hoping someone here knows of a wreck or two near the shoreline. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Also, if you happen to be willing to throw out some GPS coordinates to wrecks, man that would be awesome.
If going offshore less than 5 miles from home isn't going to get me much, where in the back-bay should I try besides the inlet area?
Thanks much and glad to be part of the forum!
