Was able to sneak away from work for about an hour and a half, and decided to give Jordanelle Smallies a try...Glad I did. On the second cast I was able to land ~3 lbs smallie. Quite a surprise because my expectations were not very high. Over the next hour, I landed 3 more nice and healthy smallies, not quite as big as the first, but dang, I was sure excited. If this nice weather holds up, it could get really good really quick.

Was using weightless plastic worms.

Thanks for the report jacobl. Good to hear the smallie fishing is finally picking up at Jordanelle. Might have to slip over there and give um a try here.

I can second that, I went this morning and started out with a two pound rainbow then after about 25 chubs I found a nice hole and pulled out 4 smallies and had a couple more get off right at the shore. I sure was glad to catch something a little more worth catching. I was using a plastic worm as well.[cool]
