The September/October issue features a full-color, behind-the-scenes look at how DNR personnel assisted with flood rescue and recovery in June.

The 48-page issue of the bimonthly publication also features a photographic look back at the DNR career of photo editor Richard Fields, who left the publication in June, after 23 years at the helm. It's a must-have for anyone who has subscribed to the magazine in the past.

This diverse publication, a Hoosier institution that will celebrate its 75th anniversary next year, features articles on all aspects of the outdoors of the state, accompanied by full-color outdoor photography that is second to none.

Available at most Borders and Barnes & Noble's stores and at State Park Inns, the magazine sells for $3 an issue. If your favorite newsstand is out, call (317) 233-3046 to buy your copy. A subscription, which includes a full-color calendar in the November/December issue, costs $12 for one year, $20 for two years. See OutdoorIndiana.org for more information or click here to subscribe.
