I fished Oakley on 9/18 with a friend from work. The fishing was pretty slow compared to a week ago. The water was mercky and the wind was changing directions and speed every so often. The water level is getting lower everydat. We caught the same amount of walleye on jigs vs. trolling. Another group in a boat just jigged the entire time. It looked like they caught a few more than we did. I did happen to catch a very nice walleye, 28 inch with a 15.5 inch girth. That fish made the whole trip worth while.

Awesome fish! I would love to fish Oakley in my toon. Would yu suggest going in where the boats launch or to the south where the creek comes in (forgot it's name)

I would put in where the boat launch is and either head south to where goosecreek comes in or along the huge rock wall on the opposite side. I have caught fish at both places. The water is dropping fast and it seems to change the fishing areas.
