I just joined this forum and wanted to say hello. I live in the small town of Watsonville. I used to fish for bass for most of my life and now I am a big fan of the rainbow trout. I also fish the surf for Bsp and the occasional striper. My favorite fishing spots of late have been Camanche Reservoir, Pardee Reservoir, and Lake Amador. I only use artificial baits and do most of my fishing from either a float tube or off the bank..

Thank you for the kind welcome. I have already checked out the Ca. board, but have not looked at the float tube section yet. Thanks for the info. I have already uploaded some pictures into the photo gallery and will be posting more, as trout season is just around the corner. I can't wait to get back on the water!!!!

Thanks for the welcome Mike. Hope this trout season is as good or better than the last. The water temps at the lakes that I like to fish are still in the mid to low 70's, so it a matter of a few weeks before the bite turns on.

Welcome aboard Mark and thanks for taking the time to register. There is a lot to learn as well as share on this site.
You are fishing some of my old stomping grounds. With another 11 to 12 degree drop it will be fish on. They will start planting fish in those lakes too once the water can hold below 59 degrees.
Good luck and please come on down to the Cali board. We would love to see some of your reports there.[cool]
