Man its been a while since I've posted. I will be heading up to Pineview early next week to get another tiger, but was wondering if anyone knows anything about launching tubes or rafts there. I know that motor boat launching up there has become expensive and troublesome as they try to get more people's hard earned $$$, but what about tubes/rafts?
-Are they going to charge me?
-Where is the best access to the water?
-Anything else I should know?

[cool][#0000ff]If you launch at the main port ramp, you will be charged the fees as you enter...I think until about the end of October. Might be free already. Ditto for Cemetery Point. You might look up the phone number for the facilities and check for current fees.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]There are several spots around the lake you can launch a tube or toon for free...if you wanna trudge a ways to the water. The lake is down and the waters edge is a long way from any parking spots.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I launch my tube at the narrows, but I have a "tube cart" that lets me work my way down the hill and over the rocks. I am also thinking of targeting that area next week, but will be focusing on perch and crappies.[/#0000ff]

Thank you Tubedude! Once again you come to my assistance.
I pretty much have all of next week off. I am also planning on hitting Scofield and Huntington. Probably snow up there at Huntington already but no biggie.

[cool][#0000ff]Shoot me a PM. Maybe we can team up on the trout ponds. I have them on my radar too. And, since TubeBabe is still visiting family in California, I am "single" next week too.[/#0000ff]

There used to be several walk in access points past the town on the east end. They have pretty good beaches that you can launch off of.
[

] there are several access points on the east side but the majority of the fish have moved on down to the narrows with the recent cooler temps.. I also fished down in the narrows on monday afternoon ended up up with 11 slab crappies ... 3 smallys biggest at 15in .. 7 perch all tiny... ana dozen er so gills up to 10 in.. fish on..FISHAMANIAC[
