We floated from Husky to Conant and the fishing sucked bad. We used every streamer, jig, and rapala we had with only a few small ones to show. Most of the people we saw using nymphs were not catching much either. Small mayflys were everywere, but I saw no nice fish taking them, but the dinks were all over the drys. I will be there again in a couple of weeks to knock that day off the books.
Here is a photo of the biggest one of the day.

Thats a pretty nice brown. Congrats on catching that fish. That is awsome. I have come up with the same thing. I was one fishing nymphs and It has been slow I found that cloud covered days are the very best with nymphs. But luck for me I did get some action fishing nymphs becasue inbetween the trout, there were always a few white fish. So slow trout fishing anyways.
Thanks for your report

I'm going again next week. I hope that it is better fishing.

I wold think that the fish should be easier to find and if you swing some nice streamers at them they should hit. Good luck. If I get the chance to fish up by Byington then I will let you know how I do there as well and what I had success with
