Greetings y'all,

I'm goin fishin tomorrow morning early at the berry. I'll probably get there around 6:30am.

Anyway, last weel when I went, they seemed to be biting well in 20-30' water on tube jigs with chub meat. The other guys were using the chub meat and I was using night crawlers. I caught 3 but the others probably caught 6-8 each..

Anyway, I'm heading out there tomorrow morning (Friday the 17th) 'weekendwarrior' and a friend of his.

Any last minute advice on what special things are working up there?

What spots are best in the early hours around sunup? Is trolling good, or just vertical jigging at that hour? What depth have you guys been noticing the fish in the early morning?

Any advice you can give would help.. I need to have a 10+ fish day one of these days. My best was 9 fish a couple weeks ago when it was raining all day, but with the sunshine, I'm hoping that I'll get luckier.. []

I had pretty good luck that day trolling using a 2 inch white fly with some red thread at the front of it and 1/2 nightcrawler. That, Rapallas, and Tube Jigs work for me while trolling.

I'll be going out again Saturday with my Brother and will start fishing around noon-1pm. Any advice for afternoon/evening fishing?

I want to be throwing swimbaits like Bassrods. What depth are you guys catching em at?

The last time I was up at the Berry I launched at Strawberry main boat ramp and got some cuts over 22" off the boat ramp, they was jumping after small trout and chubs at day brake...

The more boats that launched and went through them the sooner they leave...

Caught some on tubs that was from 17" to 20" then on the Lucky Craft pointer 78 in ghost and smallmouth, those was from 19" to 24 1/4" and on the swim bait I used I got them from 22 1/2" up to 25 3/4" only got 3 on the swim bait I got most on the Lucky Crafts....

All but the ones at the boat ramp came from water 1' to 15' around the moss beds...
Oh and I got a few on a white Lucky Craft...The lighter color lures worked the best and they needed to run under 5' deep...
