Put 4 hours on the lake pulling crawler harnesses and cranks. Two wipers about 3 # apiece. Both came on a shad colored jointed shad rap.
It sure ain't the lake it used to be [frown] I think Wyoming has spoiled me [

]. Walleye fishing is always slow for me this time of the year at Willard but when you do catch one they are usually big. We have caught a 5 and 6 lber by trolling and casting close to shore in the fall. This was one of the best springs I can remember for catching nice walleye, so I'm sure a lot of them went home for dinner[:/], hopefully there are still some big ones left. One thing for sure, there is plenty of food left for them to feed on this winter, I was marking a lot of schools of baitfish.
