Barndoor- The term 'barndoor', in California at least, is used to describe a very large halibut. The Pacific Halibut being bigger then it's cousin, the California Halibut,often qualifies for the barndoor status. A California model weighing 30lbs would be considered a barndoor. See Doormat.
