It was a rather brisk monring especially with the wind. It was 39 degree's when I got out of the car. I took a guy that was new to fishin and he got skunked. I picked up 4 bows ranging from 14-18 inches threw the two larger ones back in, kept the other two for dinner.

I want to pick up some browns out there but have yet to even see one pulled out by anyone.

I used .5 oz tasmanian devils the whole time, and I even lost one. And he bait fished for probably twenty minutes then switched to the tasmanian that I pulled two in on.

Too bad your friend did not catch anything but it sounds like you did good[Wink]. Have you tried using some different lures for the Browns? From my experience, minnow type lures lures like Rapala work best for Browns. I've had my best success with brown or rainbow trout rapalas but I'm sure others would work. Good luck, I hope this helps. WH2

I'll have to find some and try them out. Thanks for the advice!

I'm glad to see there's still a lot of water in Grantsville Res. Do you have any idea of the maximum depth?

I dont but when I go catch me some bait fish I'll meander on over and look.
