The only ICE FISHING I do is maybe the cubes in a glass with rum and coke, OR the chunks floating by on the river.
Just to challenging trying to hit that little hole in the middle of a frozen lake with the fly constantly[laugh]
Plus, you just AIN'T going to get me to walk on HARD WATER...NOPE, ain't gonna happen![mad]

I agree with you, flygoddess, the only ice I like are in my Black Russian. LOL
I have fished Cascade thru the ice in my younger days but never really enjoyed it. Way too cold for me. I'm like a bear, I hibernate in the winter since I've gotten older.
If we get a nice day during the winter, I may head down to the Boise river for some trout fishing. Otherwise, I'm in where it is warm. [cool]

My son and I can't wait either. We got into some very nice perch on American Falls Res last year. Hopefully this year will be just as good.

You know me, I will be getting my stuff together shortly. I love ice fishing more than any of my other hobbies. In fact my schedule is so full right now that I may not get out again until hard water.

I'm getting anxious to try Henries on hard water later this month, but otherwise I'm mostly focused on hunting, then skiing until January. Still, it's fun for an afternoon outing [
