Flying Gaff- Used mainly for bigger fish that require more than one gaff and have lots of muscle. Gaffing a fish, the head of the gaff is embedded in the quary (pole detaches)and slack in the rope, that is tied to the head, is taken up. Subduing a fish with rope is much easier than a gaff pole and makes hauling a catch on board much easier!
