Well, I was out the door at 5:40 this morn and headed to Newton....got there abotu 7:35 and fish until 9:30 with only a LMB to show for it...about 17".
From there I headed to Pineview for a few casts and as the wind came up I felt I was aimlessly throwing at waves with little direction on where the baitfish and ultimately BIG BOYS were at so I headed to the Weber (for my first time ever) just below wanship and fished it from 1:30 til 4:00...hooked 7 browns and put two on the shore...16.5" and 23"...phone was dead so did not get pics. I fished slow along the bottom to get them to hit...they were very passive today with only one hard hit out of all of them...felt like I was finessing smallies.
That was my day so I need some redemption...headed to the berry in the morning. Any advice would be appreciated.

The narrows are usually good this tme of year. I was out there last week and the fishing was good even though i was fishing it about 2pm till about 4pm. I would start shallow and work my way to 35 feet by the afternoon.

Can't give you any advice on the Berry but it should be good if you go to the right area. A little far for me to catch slimmers. Hopefully others will post up.
Anyway, good on ya for the catching on the weeb. The only thing that I would ask that you consider, is to return those bigger browns and rainbows and keep the smaller guys. Better yet, keep only whities. [] Come to think of it, you didn't say you kept the big boys, sooooooo, this may be for others who read. Don't get me wrong, been there done that. [blush] I've mellowed over the years.

No pics due to left camera in my big tackle box and was carrying my smaller box and phone battery was dead for afternoon when I was there. I do have a pic of the LMB on my phone but that's all. I'll try to upload it.
Didn't keep any at all. I am not a keepin' fish guy. I have bought more fish this year than I have kept...and caught about 600 so far and kept 3 total including trips to Canada. I put fish back so some day they can be musky or pike food hopefully...well at least their offspring can be - LOL.
It is the berry tomorrow - I'll give ya a report on it as well...hopefully with a few pics.
