I don't like using the same type of rod for worms as I do for spinnerbaits.
I have 3 Curados, 2 of the new 200E7's and one of the older 100DSV's. My Texas Rig rods are a 6'6" Shimano Crucial - Med/Hvy, X-Fast and a 6'10" Shimano Compre - Med/Hvy, X-Fast. My spinnerbaits are thrown from a 6'6" Shimano Clarus - Medium, Moderately Fast.
Pardon all the Shimano mentioning. There are lots of great rods out there, including the BPS rods you had a link to. If you're going to buy the one on the other thread you posted a link for, you may as well buy the combo because you'll be getting a great reel for about $40 or $50 more.
Anyway, I like something in the 6'6" to 7' range, definately X-Fast action and something in the Medium or Medium Heavy rating. Longer worm rods are usually a little too heavy and stiff because they're normally for flipping. Shorter rods cast a little shorter. Preference is a big importance here.
