Anyone have any new info on Chesterfield. Thinking about heading over there on the 2 days following Thanksgiving.

Just that is was still producing but take a look at the Idaho Fish and Game stocking reports- 25,000 6" catchables planted 9/30 to 10/01 could limit the amount of nioce fish you get into. Personally I woul ddrive south agbout another 35 mto 40 miles.

You referring to Daniels?

No- though Daniels was decent a week ago- a couple of good fish and a lot of 17 to 17 1/2 fighters-- The narrows is where I would be- go back see the survey and take it- all fisherman will be glad they did.

I took a trip to Chesterfield last Saturday with two other guys and found the action to be good. We used 3" maniac Minnows and 1-1/2" Cut'r Bugs on an 1/8 oz round head. Crazy glow produced the best for us.

So are you saying chesterfield is iced or were you jig fishing on open water?

Chesterfield is far from iced over!
We need a lot colder weather than we are getting to ice it over.

I stopped by Chesterfield (but didn't fish) on Saturday after fishing 24 mile all morning and the first part of the afternoon. The fishing was really good at 24m, but the fish were smaller than I'd hoped. After we left Chesterfield, we decided to give the Portneuf river a try before it closed on Monday. Caught a pretty good hog!

Also fished Springfield on Friday.

Must have deleted the 24m pics from this computer. Do have some of the hog and also from Springfield.

Nice Brown!
I was wondering how big the fish were in 24 mile.
Here is a pic of a 4-1/2 lb bow and 6lb 9 oz bow from Chesterfield, all caught on 1-1/2" Cut'r Bugs.

What did you catch the big brown on? Nice fish!!!!

I caught the brown on a Rapala.

The fish in 24mile were around 15-17 inches (at least everything we caught.
