Please take this survey- ciould go along ways it determining the future of the Bear River Narrows. Please read every question and the possible answers because they are worded to make you think and if you just fly thru it there is a very good chance that you answers isn't what you meant. ([#0000ff]www.narrowssurvey.com[/#0000ff]) I'm just a messenger- there are those that have but a lot of time and work trying to save the narrows.
Ladies and Gentlemen:
Please take the time, about 7 minutes, to complete this survey for the Bear River Oneida Narrows Canyon. Please use caution and read the information carefully! The order in which some of the responses listed is reversed from one question to another. If you don't understand what the question is asking, simply mark "don't know." Please don't guess! We are in opposition to the proposed dam and that is basically all you need to submit. The Oneida Narrows is a unique, one-of-a-kind location that cannot be duplicated. The other river fisheries be it Mink, Cub, or below the proposed dam do not suffice as an alternate location for the experience. I make these suggestions as an aid and don't imply you need to complete your survey in this manner.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
In an effort to provide ample opportunity for public comment regarding the proposed Bear River Narrows dam and reservoir project, we are making the same questionnaire that has been distributed to a random probability sample of residents in Franklin County, Idaho and Cache County, Utah available for completion by all interested individuals in an on-line format. Responses obtained from those who choose to complete this on-line questionnaire will be analyzed as an additional form of public input, and reported separately from results obtained through the scientific random sample survey procedures utilized as part of Study 8 (Socioeconomics).
Individuals who wish to complete the questionnaire can access it by logging on to a dedicated web site ([#0000ff]www.narrowssurvey.com[/#0000ff]) and following the directions posted there for accessing the questionnaire and filling it out on-line. The questionnaire will be accessible to those who wish to participate in this public input opportunity for a 30-day period only, beginning on the date this notice is distributed. The web site will become inactive at the end of this period.
We encourage you to distribute this information to members of the organizations and groups that you represent, and to any other interested individuals. Your assistance in helping to promote participation in this process is appreciated.
