Friday,11/21/08- Picked up the wife from work and to my surprise she asked if I would take her for a boat ride. We hit the water at 4:00pm.

Calm waters of the old Lake Mead Marina Site, now the home of a floating fishing dock. Also one of the locations for the Friday trout plants.

Trolled the area for a while resulting in one nice striper. Watched a coyote along the shore.

Ended up docked at Lake Mead Marina eating shrimp scampi for dinner. Made the run back to the boat ramp in the dark. Off the water by 7:30pm. What a great way to spend a Friday Night.

Hello BaySport

It will take A few Plants before the stripers start to show up in numbers. I think the water needs to cool a little bit more. Boulder Beach should be the best chance because of they have planted there for years. Now even better both ends get planted. Crawdad is going to exploded this year a friend with wildlife expects to see a few in the 30 pound class pulled out this year. Hope one is on all of our poles.

For every ones information after thanksgiving. The friday plants the trout come from willow Beach. They are also going to plant on tuesdays with trout weather permitting from the hatchery up north. Every one remember to buy your trout stamp this is where they get the funding to perform the trout plants.

Good luck Everyone!!!

[cool]Hey BaySport, good going on the troll in the harbor. Iwas at the pier for half hour to check things out. The srtipers that were caught were mostly on shad. I think one or two were caught on LA sliders. It was a nice evening for a cruise.
