What do you get when you mix this:

Kinda cute no? The pockets are identical, and I THINK the flat portion on the bottoms are the same length, and the banana diameters are the same.
The main differences are that the tips are a fool longer on each end on the 8' (obviously) and that the 8' has a double wall skin. The 8' bananas also weigh nearly twice as much as the 4'ers.
I'd be willing to bet that the small boat has for all practical purposes the same capacity as the bigger one and less wind profile.
Concerns? I don't feel as confident pumping up the single wall bananas to the pingin' hard pressures as I do the double wall. I'm sure for river running, the longer boat would be safer and more stable in the churn, but for lake running, the smaller sail of the little guy may make sense.
Any other reasons why one shouldn't chose the little one over the big?
