I am getting a muskie rod I want a 8' foot heavy to extra heavy power fast action. I would get a shimano convergonce I am looking to spend less then 100.00.

Are you looking for a Spinning or Bait-Cast? Either way I use the Browning Fishing Medallion - GT Muskie Casting Rods. Their 79.99 for an XH - Extra Heavy.
