Hey Guys,
I'm looking for some info on Fish lake or Fish reservoir in the weber drainage. I have heard it called both so I don't know what it is really called. The trail head is up the upper weber canyon near Smith moorehoue reservoir. I have been told that it's a 3 mile hike to it up over the ridge. Has any one been there. Does any one know how big it is? Is it worth packing the tube along? I have heard that it is stocked with Grayling.Any info would be great.[Smile] And last of all does any one want to go and try it with me this summer

[Smile]hey tincanfsh fish is a reservoir and 46 acres at low pool 38 feet deep and it has mostly grayling but a few brookies also I've never been there myself but that is what my Lakes Of The High Uintas book says nad I don't think I would lug a float tube up there on a camping trip with all my camping gear but for a day trip it wouldn't be that bad unless you have horses witch makes it alot easier.

Hey Hoobie, Thanks for the info. I would only be going up for a day trip. Does your book have maps of the area.

Glad I could help and my book only has a basic drainage map that shows the lakes that have fish in them but it is good to know which lakes have fish in them once when I was little my dad took me and my brother to some ponds by whitney reservoir and we hiked a lot that day to and fished three or four ponds and didn't catch anything and when I got my High Uintas Books (theres about one book for every drainage)I looked for the ponds and found out they are fishless but anyway if you want info on getting these books let me know[Smile]
