Good day of fishing with clear skies and cold temps. Fished off the boat ramp on the west side of the lake in 14 feet of water and 6 inches of slush. The slush complicated matters and hindered mobility so pick your spot wisely! There were about 6 groups out on the ice that appeared to be having mixed success. A blue bullet minnow tipped with a meal worm was the ticket for me. Ended up with about 12 fish in three hours of fishing. Could have caught more if it wasn't for the slush. One bonus, no Chubs today.
