We drove down yesterday. It sucked. We saw one guy catch one. We caught two, and lost one. We had five or six other bites. We fished the South Point area, and by the Fisherman's Bench.

We were at Otter Creek on Monday at the Eagle's Nest area. We did quite well. We had a group of 9 people (a couple of novices included) and caught 18-20 fish in about 2 hours, most were between 14-18" 1.5-3 pounds, some good looking fat fish.
They were biting on white or white/chartreuse jigs tipped with a mealworm. The mealworm was an absolute must have (if you can find any--there aren't any to find in richfield) they wouldn't even touch a tube jig that didn't have a mealworm but would hit hard if it did have a mealworm.

We just drove the trucks up the east side and walked out from shore--we weren't too far out--about 20-25 feet of water. The ice was about 6" thick--i didn't notice anyone else with a four wheeler on the ice.
