hit the lake this morning with my wife at 8:00 fishing was fast for bluegill and crappie. the bite slowed way down by 10:00, we were using small ice jigs tipped with wax worms { they didnt want worms} ive got them battered and the deep fryer is warmed up and ready to go so im diving into some panfish for the first time in 5 or so years mmmmm. no c&r for these boys!

Im heading out to the big brown lake in the morning, any hints on where you were???

was there any size to the gills and crappie?
What side of the lake were you on?

I want to hit the lake on Sat. so any extra info wouls be very appreciated.
