Hey! It looks like it finally let me register!

I went to Current Creek Res with my wife on Friday morning. We took the canoe up and used an electric trolling motor. Fishing was really steady from the canoe while the wind wasn't blowing. We trolled with Lil Jake Spin a Lures. Gold seemed to be the preferred color. When the wind got too strong we went to shore for about an hour. From shore she used a worm marshmallow combo and I used a fly from a bubble. The action wasn't as fast as from the canoe, but it was steady. We fished from 8 to about noon and caught roughly 40 fish....all cutts...averaged about 13-14" The largest was about 17"

PS In the headlights on the way up I saw the first cougar that I've ever seen in the wild! It was a pretty big cat.....saw him about 1/2 way up the canyon from US 40.

Hey Shrimpboy,
Thanks for the great report. That must of been cool seeing the cat. I haven't seen any yet, but I know some day I will. This late fall I went up to C.C. and saw some Bald Eagles and some Turkeys on the way up. It was cool.
