I did 18 years ago. For scouts we canoed from the dam up to the inlet (I believe this was over a mile of canoeing) and camped on the shore near the inlet.
It was awesome fishing - I believe we caught both brookies and cutts, but I'm not completely certain.
It doesn't get stocked with rainbows (at least not in the last 4-5 years it hasn't been stocked with anything). That leads me to believe it has a healthy self-sustaining population.
Brookies for sure, and probably cutts too.

ya a few times never on the ice. brooks and cuts as well as grayling. nothing over 10 inches ever caught by me. now below it a few miles. differnt storry!!!
