we went out last night a good friend and my self Doc, I wanted to hit a fresh spot so we headed just a little north of were we fished during the bash we only fished for 2.5 hrs and ended with 25 fish the males were spewing all over and the magic depth was 8ft-12ft 12ft seem to be the honey hole the bite was hard and thay never let go out of all we caught none NONE had jack in there guts nothing empty thats not right for the ling as soon as that 3/4 moon started up the fishing died like some one flipin a light switch so i think the pressure of the bash and the moon really srewed the bash up but iam no bio just a fisherman the average size was 18-21in allmost all were caught dead stickin the 4'' yammamotos and then the 5'' radical glow tube that took the bigger fish up to 26'' we only got one but it was on a big bait . How's the wind been? It was nice having the wind so mild for the bash. The W can get so nasty there!

[#000000]Is it a good spot over by the cliff drop-off just south of the Squaw Hollow ramp or is it too deep for ice fishing? So if you are just catching males where do the female ling hangout? What is the deal? Thanks[/#000000]

i think thay are there its just the number of males is greater we got a few females but not near the number, are thay in shallow makein nests ? i have no idea but we did get them in 2ft last yr as far as squaw goes it is a great spot all around squaw buckboard anvil if only there was ice any rock drop off near the river channel any rocky point that would hold crawfish and bait fish.
