Hey I need some information on Pineview, Deer Creek, Jordanelle. How thick is the ice, and what fish are being caught with what??? Any information is great thanks in advance.
I don't think Deer Creek has safe ice. And Jordanelle last I drove by didn't have ice. But I could not see down the rock cliff arm, which usually has ice this time of year.

Drove by Jordanelle yesterday, saw ice on the rockcliff arm. I think it's safe to a point. Just drill and check as you go.

Pineview is a solid 8" but the fishing is SLOOOOOOOW!

Rock Cliff at Jordanelle has been iced over for some time, and currently has at least 6" of good ice out beyond the bouys. I fished there Saturday and again Tuesday, and fishing was slow to fair each time. 6 fish between 2 anglers each time in about 4 hours. All but one were 15" rainbows. It was better in the morning, and tapered off toward noon. White tube jigs and green paddle bugs were working when tipped with wax worms, but I think the waxies were the key.
