We got to Yuba at 10:30 and by the time we drilled our first hole it was 11:00...

We were headed back home by 1:30 with our limits, we used perch on one hook and worm on the other hook on each pole and was getting two fish at a time and even had four at one time...

The biggest was just at 13 1/2" and the smallest at 10 3/4" we had 5 at or over 13" and 4 under 12" ...

We had lots of fish around us most of the time, not a bad day for such a late start..

Will send some pictures to TD to post when he gets a chance...

Nice job Cliff! Good to know that the afternoon bite is existant. It's 1.5 hours to Yuba from my house and early starts are hard.

Did you fish across by the brush or stay on the ramp side?

Where were you fishing at. We were across the ramp on the other side of the lake. Heck of a walk. ot there at 11:30 and left at 4:30 only got 13 perch between the four of us. I wish I could show my wife and boys some really good fishing like you do sometime. We are not having very good luck at all. We were using small glow tubes tipped with carp meat.

We were fishing in 30' of water 2.1 miles from the ramp to the north and west...

The set up I used was a Mojo drop shot 1/4oz with two ice flys above, the flys were about 8" apart and one was tipped with perch (bottom hook) and worm on the top...
The other pole had the bottom hook with worm and top with perch meat..

Don't get in a crowd or move around or make noise like hitting the ice, running and such it can push the perch away from you at times...
